How to Scan a Check Engine Light (CEL or MIL)

 

In this video, I show you how to figure out what check engine light (CEL) codes your car is throwing using a OBD2 scanner. Another name for the CEL is the MIL (malfunction indicator light). I’d highly recommend getting a OBD2 scanner, as they are really cheap and have more uses than just checking CEL’s.
