Nukem384 Ride Share Series: Best Ways to Maximize Profit Video

In this video, learn my tips and trick to maximize revenue while you’re on the road driving for Lyft or Uber.  These are the strategies I use when I’m out there giving rides to people.  It’s not always possible to utilize all of them because it depends when and where you’re driving.  But, if you leverage as many of these as you can at the same time, you’ll be making more money than the average driver.

Summary of tips – more detail on each in the video
Tip 1 – drive during peak commute hours
Tip 2 – Friday and Saturday nights
Tip 3 – Get an app that controls both Lyft and Uber simultaneously
Tip 4 – Don’t chase surge areas
Tip 5 – Lookout for special events
Tip 6 – Make sure you promote
Tip 7 – Tax deductions

Tutorial: 2012 Mazda 2 Front Brake Pads Video

In this video, I’ll show you how to replace brake pads on your 2012 Mazda 2.  This brake tutorial is very similar to many other cars and pretty standard.  Make sure to use brake grease on all part where metal touches metal.  If you want to grease in between the shim and the brake pad, and on top of that shim, go for it.  I don’t like doing that because it makes a big mess and I don’t think it’s all that effective.  Also, I don’t normally resurface rotors.  There’s a huge debate about if you should or if you shouldn’t.  If the rotors are warped, resurfacing will only temporarily fix that.  I believe that you either leave it like it is, or get a new set of rotors.  Hope this video helps you with your project!

Defensive Driving 101 – Avoiding Accidents by Anticipation

In this video, I show you a bunch of techniques I use to drive defensively against other drivers.  Most of the techniques require you to be aware of your surroundings and to be able to anticipate what other drives might do.  You’ll notice that most drivers are predictable on the road and most will do certain (not so bright) things all the time.  These are the drivers you want to lookout for.  If you use your anticipation skills, you’ll be able to avoid them and there by avoid getting into an accident with them.  Anther main point of this video and when defensively driving, is don’t pace other drivers!  Don’t have tunnel vision and drive like you’re the only person on the road!  Pacing other drivers is a no no and you should avoid it whenever you can!  Hope this video is helpful to you and thanks for watching!

Tutorial: Fix Frozen Refrigerator Water Dispenser Line

Learn how to get your water dispenser working again with the cheap trick of using a hair dryer to melt the frozen water in the line.  The process does take some patience and a bit of time, but it’s worked every time for me (my line gets frozen on a semi regular basis).  One preventative measure to try and stop this from happening is to set your freezer temperature a few degrees higher (done that in my case).  If all else fails and you’re tired to having to do this, there are warmer kits out there to help prevent your line from getting frozen.  I have a GE model refrigerator, but I’m sure this trick will work for many refrigerator models.
