Which is better? Big City vs Small City Driving for Uber or Lyft

In this video, I analyze which area has more driving profitability.  Is the big city or the small city a better area to work?  Yes, in the smaller city, you’ll get longer rides, but is all the extra waiting worth it compared to the shorter, constant rides and fares you’ll get in the big city?  Hope you thought the video was helpful!  If it was, don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

What Car to Drive For Uber and Lyft

In this video, I give you my best opinion on what type of car is best to drive for Lyft or Uber.  I’m focusing on compact cars, as I think they are a better option than driving around a big honkin SUV.  I explain what features I look for in a good car that benefits both yourself and your passenger.  Hope you find it helpful!  Don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

2004 Honda Civic Starter Replacement

In this video, learn how to remove and replace the starter on a 7th gen Honda Civic EX manual tranny (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005).  Not too bad of an install, but the lower bolt is a bit hard to get to.  Make sure you have some swivel sockets and a bunch of extensions to break that one loose.  If you thought this video was helpful, don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

How to Break in a Clutch

In this video, learn the proper method to break in your clutch if you want it to last a long time.  Longevity is important for a clutch since it’s such a timely install.  Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time to drive it hard and have fun, but being patient during the break in period is a must!  If you thought this video was helpful, don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

2004 Honda Civic Axle Replacement Tutorial

In this video, learn how to remove and install a new axle/cv boot in your 7th gen Honda Civic EX manual tranny (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005).  This install isn’t too hard, so you can save yourself some money by doing this one yourself.  There’s a couple ways to get to the axle, either you take the strut bolts out/brake caliper off or take the lower ball joint and tie rod end ball joint out.  I elected for the strut bolt/caliper because I felt it’s an easier (and less tools) to get to the axle.  If you’re changing the passenger axle, you’ll also need to drain and refill your tranny fluid.  I’ll link you below to my tutorial on that install from a while ago.  If you found this tutorial helpful, don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

2004 Honda Civic Clutch Replacement Tutorial

In this video, learn how to replace the clutch and flywheel on a 7th gen Honda Civic EX (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005).  This install is actually pretty straight forward and not all that bad (hardest part is getting the tranny and motor to line up correctly).  But it is a really big, pretty involved install that took me and a friend 14 hours to complete.  I wouldn’t try this one unless you’re mechanically inclined, but if you are, it’s well worth the knowledge gained and amount of money saved!  Hope you found it helpful and don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe!  Thanks for watching!

Parts needed:
Exedy KHC08 OEM clutch kit - https://amzn.to/2LDpEYm
Exedy FWHDC02FF flywheel - https://amzn.to/2JaMVT8
“Blue” thread locker - https://amzn.to/2L2dWWk

Shift fork spring – Honda part number - 22835-P7N-000
2 shift linkage cotter pins – Honda part number - 94201-20220

Tools needed (out of the ordinary stuff):
You need to have 12pt sockets for pressure plate (10mm) and flywheel bolts (17mm) - https://amzn.to/2LFaRwc
Swivel sockets help big time! - https://amzn.to/2kvVaLs
Pry bar - https://amzn.to/2JeoFiY
32mm deep socket for axle nuts - https://amzn.to/2LE6gdO
22mm socket for strut nut - https://amzn.to/2JiwNiJ
27mm deep socket to remove reverse light sensor - https://amzn.to/2JeHvGB

Motor mounts that also need to be removed to drop the tranny (Youtube links):
Front motor mount - https://youtu.be/g_WBCZ455oI
Transmission side motor mount - https://youtu.be/LK6zMiCUx6g
Rear motor mount - https://youtu.be/WK-p3Gqi_aE

How to change manual tranny fluid on 2004 Honda Civic - https://youtu.be/Svvx3vUebRA

Quick cheat sheet I made to remember the order of removing parts:
Part 1 – while car is on the ground
Remove battery
Remove air box
Move all the wires that get in the way of the starter and that area
Remove 2 sensor plugs (reverse light and speed sensor)
Remove starter
Remove shift linkage
Remove slave cylinder hard line

Part 2 – After you put the car on jack stands
Drain tranny fluid
Take axles out
Remove motor mounts, rear mount first (and also front mount and tranny side mount)
Remove bottom tranny bolts (2 tranny bolts, 4 engine stiffener bolts, 1 more tranny bolt near the axle input area plus 2 flywheel cover bolts)
Remove other 4 bell housing bolts
Drop tranny
