Tough Mudder Tahoe - Northstar!
Sooo this past weekend Tough Mudder held their summer event in Tahoe at Northstar. I had signed up for this event like 6 months ago, ready to tear the course apart. I guess you could say I'm an athletic person. Playing sports growing up and doing martial arts, I'd say I have a little physical toughness. I got my cousin in law? (cousins wife) to do the event with me since she likes doing these types of things too.

Brazilian Steak House - Espetus!
So we embarked on another food adventure today, which led us to Espetus Churrascaria in San Mateo. We were originally going to go to their restaurant in San Francisco, but we realized that today was the Gay Pride parade in SF. Their restaurant in SF is on Market St, the same street as the parade was headed down! So safe to say, parking would've been absolutely impossible! Good thing they did have this second location, as it was much more convenient for us to go to.

Making Daifuku
So a few weeks ago we went down to Socal to visit the gf's parents and decided it would be appropriate to bring them something since we were staying with them for a few days. Well her mom is a sweet's person, so we decided to make a traditional Japanese dessert we already knew she liked :P. Daifuku is what we made! It's similar to manju, mochi, and those types of sweets.

Boba Time!
I'd definitely have to say boba is an asian thing. Also called bubble tea, tapioca, milk tea. There are an array of different flavors to choose from. Basically anything you can think of. Milk tea would be your basic boba. Black tea, mixed with milk and lots of sugar! But it really doesn't make it a boba without the "boba" or tapioca. Yes, the big round balls at the bottom. Hence the large diameter straw. But like I said, the imagination is pretty much the limit with this drink. Not only can you get milk teas, but icys and snow bubbles as well. Mango snow, avacado snow, passion fruit icy, green apple icy, carmel snow, mocha snow. That's what makes this asian dessert so versatile. There's something for everyone!

Tutorial: Kartboy Front and Rear Shifter Bushings on 2006 Subaru WRX STi
Learn how to install both the front and rear shifter bushings on a 2006 Subaru WRX STi. All STi's are the same and the WRX is very similar. I'd recommend doing the short shifter at the same time, as we found it a lot easier to take the rod out of the car to put the bushings on, rather than try and squeeze the rear bushing on under the car.

Building a BEAST!
So a few weeks ago I decided to build another computer for myself. Well, as the story goes, my parents POS Dell they had bought just over a year ago was having major issues. So I told them I'd just give them my "old" Core 2 Quad and build myself another computer. I felt like it didn't make sense to build them a Core i5 or some mediocre computer where mine would suit their purposes fine (basically email and internet). And so the researching began...
